SYDNEY: Oakley South Pacific has appointed Workshop Australia to develop and implement a new through-the-line communications strategy for Arnette sunglasses, effective immediately. Workshop will reposition the Arnette brand in Australia, which, according to the company, has historically been Arnette’s strongest market globally. Arnette and Oakley South Pacific marketing director Phil Ward said the aim was to make Arnette the go-to brand in the surf market this coming year. “The decision to appoint Workshop resulted from their ability to provide insightful strategic thinking and strong creative work both above and below the line,” Ward said. “Workshop’s brand activation experience spans FMCG through to surf, fashion and retail. With that comes a great understanding of ‘our’ space.” Workshop will develop a print advertising, POS, events and promotions campaign for the Australian summer.
