Sarah Nott

SENIOR BUSINESS & STRATEGY DIRECTOR

SARAH NOTT

It was 1995 when McCann-Erickson took on an 18 year old Sarah. Despite being nick named ‘Baby Cakes’, she had a big presence and over the next 5 years quickly climbed the account service ladder to Senior Account Manager on clients including Unilever, Levi’s, Tiffany & Co., Bacardi and Johnson & Johnson. It was here that Sarah and Jamie first met and worked together.

Having developed a taste for spirits, Sarah joined Leo Burnett’s in 2000 to work on Diageo brands Johnnie Walker, Bundaberg Rum, UDL & Stoli Lemon Ruski.

In 2003 she then left to work with Strategic and Creative agency, Coral Sydney working alongside the principal on Newcastle Permanent Building Society.

1 year later Sarah headed for London and switched to the client side as a Brand Manager at McDonalds UK Head Office.

After 12 months of Big Macs and bad weather Sarah returned home to The Apparel Group as Marketing Manager for fashion brands Sportscraft and later SABA. It was the perfect fit. Now she could combine her love of marketing with her love of fashion whilst gaining valuable retail experience. Fast forward 5 years and Sarah became Marketing Manager at retail fashion accessories giant, Diva. Here she led her team in developing and implementing a new e-commerce platform and visual merchandising along with overseeing PR, consumer research and all elements of Diva’s brand communications.

After many years on the client side developing strategic insights and marketing plans for some of Australia’s biggest brands, in Sarah 2010 returned to agency side (and to Jamie) as Workshop’s Senior Business and Strategy Director.

Working closely with our Business Managers, creatives and clients alike, Sarah acts as a kind of ‘gate keeper’ for our brands and self-appointed fashion advisor to the team.
